The Windrush Generation marks the wave of people who emigrated from the Caribbean to Britain between the arrival of the HMT Empire Windrush on 22 June 1948 and the enactment of the Immigration Act in 1971. Among these pioneers were our great-grandparents and grandparents, who brought with them a deep faith rooted in Christian Ministries, including Rastafarianism with its devotion to Jah.
Invited to help rebuild Britain after World War II, they faced violent racism that sparked race riots in Bristol, Notting Hill, and other cities. Our mission is to honor and acknowledge their struggle, to preserve the essence of reggae music, and to make it accessible to all. Reggae is more than just music; it's a powerful messenger of positivity and wisdom. We focus on our elder generations with the utmost respect, creating a safe space where they can enjoy their later years and reminisce about the good times.
Our dedicated and enthusiastic team is passionate about delivering the best music and experiences to our community. We are a group of individuals who genuinely care and strive to make a positive difference. We are committed to bringing the vibrant spirit of reggae to everyone, ensuring it remains a powerful force for unity and joy.
If you want to be part of a team that makes a real difference, please drop us a line. We would love to hear from you.
